I got home from work on Saturday before Mother's Day to find that my boys had started on a wonderful surprise.
Conner and Brett started the hard work of creating a new flower bed in our backyard. On Saturday, Brett and Conner got half of all the grass removed from the bed area. On Sunday, we all worked hard to get the bed ready. We got the area cleared of all the rocks and grass and weeds.

Conner and I planted about 15 new plants in the bed and we still have about half the bed to go! Here are some of the pictures of all the hard work we did in the backyard this weekend.
